Program Jalinan Kasih Ramadhan 2025

 

On March 27, 2025Kelab Kebajikan Staff FTKPM successfully organized Jalinan Kasih Ramadhan Program as part of the faculty's efforts to give back to the community during the blessed month of Ramadan. One of the key highlights of the event was the launch of the Jalinan Kasih Fund, aimed at supporting the cleaning staff contractors and those in need within the community.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who contributed to the Jalinan Kasih Fund. Donations were collected through the Kelab Kebajikan FTKPM Fund. The fund was distributed to support those who need assistance during this special month of giving.

The success of this program would not have been possible without the generous contributions and participation of the FTKPM community. We are grateful for everyone’s support in making this program a meaningful and impactful initiative.

May our good deeds be accepted and rewarded by Allah SWT.

Project Completion and Handover to Masjid UMPSA Pekan

Project Completion and Handover to Masjid UMPSA Pekan

 

On the 26th of February 2025, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Zamzuri b. Hamedon, as the project leader formally presented the finished work to Ustaz Farid and Ustaz Salehudin. The fabrication process of the racks was carried out by Mr. Safronizan b. Yahya and Mr. Mohd Nursyazwan b Md. Talip.

The project involved the construction of a rack with dimensions of 3 x 3 x 5 feet, made from 38 x 38 mm stainless steel. The rack will be used for storing mats at the Masjid UMPSA Pekan. The materials were provided by the mosque, while FTKPM took responsibility for the fabrication.

We would like to express our gratitude to all contributors for making this project a success. We are pleased to see the rack now in use at the mosque, fulfilling its intended purpose.

AI and ChatGPT Course for Teachers

AI and ChatGPT Course for Teachers

On 11 January 2025, the Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology (FTKPM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI), successfully organized the AI and ChatGPT for Teachers Course online.

This program is a continuation of the Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) 100³ Program and aimed to provide school teachers with exposure to the applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and ChatGPT in education.

The hybrid course was held at SMK Tengku Afzan, Kuantan, with participation from five other schools through online platforms. Teachers who joined the course learned how to leverage AI and ChatGPT technologies to enhance teaching and learning processes, making them more interactive and efficient.

FTKPM hopes this program will benefit teachers by empowering them to deliver high-quality education and integrating advanced technologies into classrooms.

STI 100³ Program at SMK Sultan Ahmad Shah, Tanah Rata

 

On 9th January 2025, the Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology (FTKPM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI), successfully organized the STI 100³ Program at SMK Sultan Ahmad Shah, Tanah Rata. The program welcomed the participation of about 200 students divided into 40 groups.

This initiative aimed to expose students to elements of technology and engineering through engaging and interactive hands-on activities.

Highlights of the Program Modules: Rocket Launcher, Popsicle Bridge Stick, Arduino Smart Robot, Shock Absorber, Robot Coding and 3D Modelling

The program was led by Wan Hasbullah Bin Mohd Isa and supported by 17 FTKPM staff members, including academic and administrative personnel who volunteered as facilitators. Students had the opportunity to reflect on their learning experiences during a dedicated reflection session, followed by a faculty briefing. The program concluded with an official closing ceremony and the presentation of awards to participants.

This program not only aimed to foster students' interest in STEM but also provided a platform for them to develop foundational skills in technological innovation. FTKPM takes pride in the dedication of its facilitators and the strong collaboration among all parties involved in the success of this event.

Congratulations to all participants, facilitators, and organizers for the successful execution of this program. May such initiatives continue to inspire and benefit the younger generation in exploring the world of technology.

On January 8, 2025, the Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology (FTKPM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI), successfully organized the STI 100³ Program at SMK Bukit Damar, Lanchang. This program engaged about 200 students, aiming to introduce them to technology and engineering elements through interactive and hands-on activities.

Exciting Program Modules were:

Inspiring the Young Generation: STI 100³ MOSTI Program Series 2 with FTKPM at SMK Tengku Afzan

 

7th January 2025 | The second series of the STI 100³ MOSTI Program was successfully held at SMK Tengku Afzan, engaging 97 enthusiastic Form 2 students eager to explore new knowledge.

Led by Ts. Dr. Asrul Bin Adam, the program was supported by three dedicated lecturers from the Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology (FTKPM):

  • Ts. Dr. Muhammed Nafis Bin Osman
  • Dr. Mohamad Farid Bin Mohamad Syarif
  • Dr. Ismayuzri Bin Ishak

The program featured two exciting modules that captured the students' interest:

  1. Arduino Robot – Students learned to build, wire, and program robots.
  2. 3D Modelling – A creative activity where students designed products using 3D technology.

Combining theoretical knowledge and hands-on application, the program provided a meaningful and enjoyable way for students to explore the world of manufacturing and mechatronic engineering.

This initiative aims to inspire the younger generation to innovate, enhance their skills, and take bold steps into the world of STEM.

On 6th January 2025, the Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology (FTKPM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), successfully organized the Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) 100³ Program Series 2 in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI). This program aimed to introduce practical technology elements to 107 Form 3 students and encourage them to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields.
