AI Week FTKPM 2024: Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Technology
Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), through the Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronics Engineering Technology (FTKPM), in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI), successfully organized the AI Creativity Competition 2024: Art in the Era of Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI). The program aimed to introduce Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to the younger generation while fostering an interest in technological innovation through practical and engaging activities.
The closing ceremony of the competition was officiated by Ts. Dr. Ahmad Rosli Abdul Manaf, Deputy Dean (Research and Postgraduate Studies) of FTKPM. Following the competition, the highlight of the AI Week FTKPM 2024, themed "Artificial Intelligence: Exploring the Future of Education and Careers," took place on December 17, 2024, at the UMPSA Language Center Hall.

Additionally, two online practical sessions were conducted, providing participants with hands-on experience in applying AI technology to creative projects:
- Video Editing using AI Tools by Mr. Muhammad Naufal Bin Samsudin
- Poster Editing using AI Tools by Mr. Wan Hasbullah Bin Mohd Isa
The program also welcomed participation from 11 schools across Pahang, with over 250 students and teachers involved. Participating schools included:

These events successfully provided participants with valuable insights and experiences regarding the potential of AI technology. UMPSA and FTKPM remain committed to being leaders in technological innovation, especially among the younger generation.
