The faculty will ONLY register courses for the FIRST semester first YEAR students (Sem 1 Year 1). You MUST register your courses on your own starting Sem 2 Year 1 onwards (including Flying Professor). For special case like short semester course (German Intensive / B1.1), the faculty will do the necessary.

 

2. When can I view my course schedule?

The schedule will only appear in your ecomm After you have registered your courses. Make sure to follow the registration schedule. Registration starts at midnight the first day (e.g. 12 AM on 13th March 2023 until 1159PM of 17th March 2023).

 

3. Can I register more courses?

Make sure you register all your current credit hour requirements first. The maximum credits for student with KB and KC status are 20. You may add more (≥ 21) but MUST attach an appeal letter to the faculty's dean for his approval. Make sure you have discussed with your PA and pay a visit to your HOP before submitting the letter.

P1 & P2 students are allowed to register less than or equal to 12 credits Only.

 

4. I failed course(s) in my previous semester. Can I retake in current semester?

First look at your courses you need to finish in your current semester. Make sure you register all your current credit hour requirements first. After registering all the current courses only, you may register extra courses. And make sure the “to-repeat-course” is NOT CLASHING with the current course. Study hard and try not to fail.

 

5. When can I register failed course(s) from previous semester if clash in current semester?

You must plan your study. Courses are offered only ONCE a year. If not possible to register in current semester, you have to WAIT and register at final semester (e.g. when no clashes).

“TS – Tidak Selesai” is a grade given to a course that is not yet fully graded by the lecturers. Flying faculty courses are taught by German professors (HKA). Flying faculty courses are conducted during the end of semester (usually between Feb until March OR August until September). Due to this situation normally, students will get their marks in the next following semester.

 

2. Why I received marks from flying professors so late?

Flying professors’ lectures are conducted during the end of semester (usually between Feb until March OR August until September), your marks will only be processed after we received your marks from them (normally late April OR November, respectively). So, the UMP process for finalizing marks (senate meeting) for current semester has ended and thus need to be brought to the following senate meeting (next semester).

 

3. I go for mobility this semester; Do I need to register my courses in ecomm?

NO. You are taking courses at HKA (refer HKA Agreement). You MUST submit your HKA transcript at the end of every semester at HKA to your Head of Programme without delay. These results will be used to update your marks and grade in UMP system later (normally next semester).

 

4. If I took flying professors’ course before I go for mobility, do I need to register the course?

Yes. You will need to sit for the exam parallel with UMP students later. You will get your marks like your colleague at UMP.

Students will receive their OFFICIAL scroll(s) including transcript only AFTER convocation ceremony.

 

2. While waiting for my final BOE (Final Year Students), can I request a letter of completion of study from the faculty?

Yes, you may send an email (individually) to the admin / HOP for the aforesaid letter (1. expected graduation letter; 2. Letter confirming taught course in English).

 

3. My scholarship requests for a letter due to TS semester (e.g. internship/BT). How do I apply for it?

You may send an email to request the letter to the faculty / HOP.
