BACHELOR OF MANUFACTURING
ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY (MANUFACTURING)
The Bachelor of Manufacturing Engineering Technology (Manufacturing) with Honours programme is a four-year engineering course, where the teaching and learning activity is fully conducted at Institut Kemahiran Tinggi Belia Negara Sepang, Selangor. Potential student working nearby is welcome as it is a full time course that only conducted in the weekend. The course content prepares students with broad foundation in manufacturing engineering science and focuses on the field of manufacturing industry. Students will start with fundamental engineering subjects such as programming, computer aided design and manufacturing, electrical and electronics, and machine design. Students will then progress to specialized advanced manufacturing courses such as CNC technology, forming technology, joining technology, advanced manufacturing process, industrial automation and introduction to IR 4.0. For the first three years, students will learn through combination of lectures and hands-on laboratory work, and for the final year the student will be placed in their industry of choice to study under work-based learning.
