About us
The Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology (formerly known as Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering) was initially established as Department of Manufacturing Engineering under the Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering and Technology Management in May 2008 at UMPSA's Paya Besar Campus with only five academic staff members. In September 2011, the Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering was officially established, and the faculty relocated from UMPSA Gambang Campus to UMPSA Pekan Campus.

FTKPM aims to be a leading centre for acquiring and disseminating knowledge in the fields of manufacturing and mechatronic engineering. Knowledge acquisition is achieved through the research, development, project work and professional networking. Disseminatione occurs through consultancy services, workshops, seminars and professional publications. This philosophy is realized through a curriculum that emphasizes diverse disciplines, focusing on technologies related to manufacturing processes, manufacturing systems and mechatronic engineering.
