Pekan, 28 October 2024 – The Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology (FTKPM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), proudly celebrated its graduates during the 19th UMPSA Convocation Ceremony. The event marked a significant milestone for all graduates as they took their well-deserved steps across the stage.

This year’s convocation was particularly special as FTKPM celebrated:

• The inaugural graduates of the Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering Technology (DRP) program, comprising 61 students, 70% of whom have chosen to continue their studies at UMPSA.
• The first cohort of graduates from the Bachelor of Industrial Machining Technology (BVM) program, with 24 students successfully completing their degrees.

Adding to the joy, one of FTKPM’s very own staff members was also celebrated for earning her PhD, marking another proud achievement for the faculty.

The success of these graduates is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and perseverance throughout their academic journey. FTKPM extends its heartfelt congratulations to all graduates and wishes them every success in their future endeavors.

Tahniah diucapkan kepada kelab UMPBOT UMP di atas kejayaan merangkul 8 pasukan terbaik daripada 25 pasukan keseluruhan dalam Pertandingan Robocon Malaysia 2022 yang dianjurkan pada 1- 5 Jun 2022 yang lalu. Pada tahun ini, pasukan UMPBOT telah berjaya melayakkan diri sehingga ke pertandingan suku akhir dengan menewaskan beberapa pasukan dari institusi pengajian tinggi (IPT) lain dari seluruh Malaysia.

Pertandingan Robocon Malaysia pada tahun ini adalah bertemakan Lagori - Tuju Tin iaitu permainan tradisional negara India. Hal ini kerana New Delhi, India merupakan tuan rumah ABU Robocon 2022, di mana pasukan yang melayakkan diri sebagai Juara pada tahun ini bakal beraksi di sana untuk berentap di kejohanan peringkat antarabangsa. 

Dari warga FTKPM, kami mengucapkan setinggi-tinggi tahniah di atas kejayaan ini, khususnya kepada ahli kelab yang majoriti terdiri daripada pelajar mekatronik di FTKPM. Semoga kejayaan pada tahun ini dapat menyuntik semangat berpasukan, meningkatkan keyakinan dan kecerdasan pelajar seterusnya mengharumkan nama fakulti dan Universiti Malaysia Pahang di kejohanan lain.

Pekan, 2 October 2024 – The Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology (FTKPM) at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) successfully organized the First Year Seminar 2024, held at Dewan Kuliah 1, FTKPM. The full-day program, which ran from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, aimed to equip new students with essential academic guidance and skills needed for their journey at the faculty.

The seminar included a variety of sessions designed to prepare students for their academic journey:

• Introduction to FTKPM and faculty overview
• Academic planning and survival skills
• Laboratory safety and 5S practices
• Sharing sessions with alumni and academic advisors
• Introduction to active student organizations at the faculty

The event provided students with valuable insights into academic expectations, support systems, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. It also allowed students to engage with faculty staff, technical personnel, counselors, and alumni.

The faculty expresses its gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the program, including lecturers, technical staff, counselors, and alumni who shared their knowledge and experiences. This initiative reflects FTKPM’s commitment to ensuring a smooth and enriching transition for its new students.

PEKAN, 26 Julai 2021– Graduan Sarjana Muda Kejuruteraan Mekatronik, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Jothi Letchumy a/p Mahenda Kumar, 28, bakal ditawarkan menyambung pengajian di peringkat Sarjana (MREs/PhD) di Imperial College London, United Kingdom pada bulan Oktober depan setelah menerima biasiswa untuk sebahagian yuran serta elaun sara hidup daripada pihak  Imperial College London.

Manakala Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman (YTAR) pula akan menaja bayaran baki yuran pengajian beliau bagi menyambung pengajian nanti.
