FTKPM Strengthens Industry Ties Through MoU with Vale Malaysia Minerals Sdn. Bhd.

The Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology (FTKPM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), has established a strategic collaboration with Vale Malaysia Minerals Sdn. Bhd. through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening industry engagement and knowledge sharing.

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Faiz bin Mohd Turan, Dean of FTKPM, and Mr. Leonardo Paiva, Chief Executive Officer of Vale Malaysia Minerals Sdn. Bhd., along with the faculty’s management team and Vale Malaysia staff.

This collaboration marks a significant step toward advancing Work-Based Learning (WBL) initiatives and expanding opportunities for academic-industry partnerships, particularly in the fields of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering. The initiative is expected to greatly benefit students by bridging academic knowledge with real-world industry practices.
