Accreditation Evaluation Visit by the Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC), BEM at UMPSA Pekan Campus

Pekan, 14 October 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) recently hosted an accreditation evaluation visit by the Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC) under the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). The evaluation took place at the Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology (FTKPM), UMPSA Pekan Campus.

The one-day visit, led by Prof. Ir. Dr. Shahrir Bin Abdullah, aimed to assess the continuation of Full Accreditation for the Bachelor of Manufacturing Engineering (Hons.)/Bachelor of Manufacturing Engineering with Honours program. The evaluation focused on ensuring the program meets the stringent standards set by EAC for engineering education.

FTKPM extends its gratitude to all faculty members and stakeholders involved in preparing for the visit. We are optimistic about the program securing its continued Full Accreditation and maintaining its standing as a high-quality engineering program.
