FTKPM Staff Embrace Active Lifestyle Through Weekly Health Program


The Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology (FTKPM), UMPSA successfully organized its weekly "Healthy Lifestyle Program" for staff members on 2 July 2025 (Wednesday). The initiative aims to promote physical well-being, work-life balance, and camaraderie among faculty members.

Held at multiple locations including the foyer of Block B, the futsal court, and the netball shootout court near KK5, the event featured fun and energetic activities such as Ping Pong, Penalty Kick Challenge, and Netball Shootout.

The program received encouraging participation from staff across departments, fostering not only a spirit of fitness but also strengthening bonds within the FTKPM community.

FTKPM hopes this program continues to serve as a positive platform for promoting wellness and unity among its staff.

FTKPM Lecturer Explores the Role of Motion and Lubrication in Daily Life and Modern Technological Revolutions

 

Dr. Amiril Sahab bin Abdul Sani, a lecturer from the Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology (FTKPM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), has published a reflective article on UMPSA News Experts titled “Motion in Life: A Fundamental Need in Daily Activities and Modern Technological Revolutions.”

The article discusses the deep interconnection between fundamental physical concepts such as force, motion, work, and lubrication in both daily human activities and complex technological systems including mechanical engineering, robotics, and automation.

Enriched with verses from the Quran and hadiths, the piece encourages the pursuit of knowledge through a lens of Tawhid — emphasizing that technological advancement must be aligned with human values, ethical responsibility, and environmental stewardship.

FTKPM takes great pride in Dr. Amiril's contribution, which highlights engineering knowledge from a broader, faith-driven, and ethical perspective.

FTKPM Staff Healthy Lifestyle Program

 

On April 30, 2025 (Wednesday), the FTKPM Staff Healthy Lifestyle Program was successfully held in a vibrant and engaging manner. The event took place at the Foyer FTKPM, Block B, from 08:30 AM to 10:30 AM, and was enthusiastically participated by FTKPM staff.

The Indoor Games activity offered participants a great opportunity to interact and have fun while focusing on maintaining their health. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this event.

We look forward to hosting more such events in the future to continue promoting a healthy and active lifestyle within the FTKPM community!

Majlis Iftar Ramadhan 2025 Anjuran Kelab Kebajikan Staf FTKPM

 

On March 20, 2025, the Kelab Kebajikan Staf FTKPM successfully organized Majlis Iftar Ramadhan at K5 Bistro, Pantai Sepat. The event, which began at 6:30 PM, was a wonderful occasion for staff and their families to come together and break fast in the spirit of unity and togetherness during the blessed month of Ramadan.

The event was attended by a large number of staff and their loved ones, and the K5 Bistro provided a warm and inviting setting for the gathering. We were delighted to see so many staff members and their families come together to share a meal, strengthening the bonds within the FTKPM community.

A big thank you to all the staff who attended and contributed to the success of this event. Your participation made the iftar gathering truly special. We look forward to more such events in the future!

The Centre for Islamic & Human Development (PIMPIN), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), organized Gotong Royong Iftar Jamaie program as part of the Ramadhan Festival 1446H/2025M at UMPSA.

The Gotong Royong Iftar Jamaie for FTKPM was held on 14 March 2025 (Friday), coinciding with 13 Ramadhan 1446H. The event took place from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Masjid UMPSA Kitchen, Pekan Campus.

This event brought together FTKPM staff, students, and the community to prepare and share a meal in the spirit of cooperation and unity during the blessed month of Ramadan. The program provided a meaningful opportunity for all to come together, foster stronger bonds, and celebrate the significance of fasting and community support.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of this event, from preparation to participation. The Gotong Royong Iftar Jamaie served as a wonderful occasion to strengthen ties and celebrate Ramadan with the FTKPM family.

Religious Talk on "Achieving Forgiveness in the Month of Ramadan"

 

On March 7, 2025, the Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronics Engineering (FTKPM) organized a religious talk titled "Achieving Forgiveness in the Month of Ramadan". The session, held from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM in the Main Meeting Room at FTKPM, UMPSA Pekan, was delivered by Al Fadhil Ust. Dr. Mohd Suhardi Mat Jusoh from the Center for Human Sciences, UMPSA.

The talk focused on the spiritual significance of fasting during the holy month of Ramadan, highlighting the teachings from Hadith Bukhari: "Whoever fasts in Ramadan with faith and hopes for Allah’s reward, their past sins will be forgiven." The session aimed to inspire the FTKPM community to reflect on the blessings of Ramadan and seek forgiveness during this sacred month.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Ust. Dr. Mohd Suhardi for his enlightening session and to all those who attended. The event was a valuable opportunity for the faculty to come together in reflection and spiritual growth.
