Majlis Iftar Ramadhan 2025 Anjuran Kelab Kebajikan Staf FTKPM

 

On March 20, 2025, the Kelab Kebajikan Staf FTKPM successfully organized Majlis Iftar Ramadhan at K5 Bistro, Pantai Sepat. The event, which began at 6:30 PM, was a wonderful occasion for staff and their families to come together and break fast in the spirit of unity and togetherness during the blessed month of Ramadan.

The event was attended by a large number of staff and their loved ones, and the K5 Bistro provided a warm and inviting setting for the gathering. We were delighted to see so many staff members and their families come together to share a meal, strengthening the bonds within the FTKPM community.

A big thank you to all the staff who attended and contributed to the success of this event. Your participation made the iftar gathering truly special. We look forward to more such events in the future!

The Centre for Islamic & Human Development (PIMPIN), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), organized Gotong Royong Iftar Jamaie program as part of the Ramadhan Festival 1446H/2025M at UMPSA.

The Gotong Royong Iftar Jamaie for FTKPM was held on 14 March 2025 (Friday), coinciding with 13 Ramadhan 1446H. The event took place from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Masjid UMPSA Kitchen, Pekan Campus.

This event brought together FTKPM staff, students, and the community to prepare and share a meal in the spirit of cooperation and unity during the blessed month of Ramadan. The program provided a meaningful opportunity for all to come together, foster stronger bonds, and celebrate the significance of fasting and community support.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of this event, from preparation to participation. The Gotong Royong Iftar Jamaie served as a wonderful occasion to strengthen ties and celebrate Ramadan with the FTKPM family.

Religious Talk on "Achieving Forgiveness in the Month of Ramadan"

 

On March 7, 2025, the Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronics Engineering (FTKPM) organized a religious talk titled "Achieving Forgiveness in the Month of Ramadan". The session, held from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM in the Main Meeting Room at FTKPM, UMPSA Pekan, was delivered by Al Fadhil Ust. Dr. Mohd Suhardi Mat Jusoh from the Center for Human Sciences, UMPSA.

The talk focused on the spiritual significance of fasting during the holy month of Ramadan, highlighting the teachings from Hadith Bukhari: "Whoever fasts in Ramadan with faith and hopes for Allah’s reward, their past sins will be forgiven." The session aimed to inspire the FTKPM community to reflect on the blessings of Ramadan and seek forgiveness during this sacred month.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Ust. Dr. Mohd Suhardi for his enlightening session and to all those who attended. The event was a valuable opportunity for the faculty to come together in reflection and spiritual growth.

Bowling Tournament Hosted by FTKPM Staff Welfare Club

 

On February 28, 2025, the FTKPM Staff Welfare Club successfully organized a Bowling Tournament for both staff members and postgraduate students. The event, held at Premium Lanes Bowling Centre in Pekan, took place from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

Each participant had the chance to compete in 2 frames of bowling. The event provided an enjoyable and engaging opportunity for staff and students to socialize and showcase their skills in a fun, relaxed environment.

We are pleased to announce the winner in the male category of the tournament, Dr. Ahmad Syakirin bin Ismail @ Rosdi, and the female category, Miss Fazilah. Congratulations to both winners for their outstanding performances!

The faculty would like to express our sincere appreciation to all those who participated and supported the event. It was a fantastic opportunity for the FTKPM community to come together and enjoy some friendly competition. We look forward to hosting more such events in the future!

Briskwalk & Run: Promoting a Healthy Lifestyle at FTKPM

 

On January 22, 2025, FTKPM organized the Briskwalk & Run program at the Pusat Rekreasi Air, UMPSA Pekan, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The event aimed to encourage a healthy lifestyle among the faculty staff. It also served as a platform to strengthen relationships between faculty staff and other departments (PTJ).

The presence of the Deputy Dean of Research, Ts. Dr. Ahmad Rosli b. Abdul Manaf, and the Heads of Programs as representatives of the faculty management added to the success of the event. We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who participated and supported the initiative. This activity is part of UMPSA’s healthy lifestyle program, which aims to improve the physical and mental well-being of the entire university community.

The Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology (FTKPM) successfully organized a knowledge-sharing seminar titled "Islam and Asset Ownership", delivered by Dr. Tuan Sidek Tuan Muda from the Centre for Humanities Sciences, UMPSA. This seminar, part of a series organized by the FTKPM Welfare Club, provided valuable insights into the principles and practices of asset ownership in Islam.

During the session, participants had the opportunity to explore the topic in depth and engage in a Q&A session, where Dr. Tuan Sidek addressed questions from the audience, enriching their understanding of Islamic perspectives on wealth and property management.

The seminar aimed to foster intellectual growth and promote awareness of ethical asset ownership among attendees. It was well-received by staff and students, reflecting FTKPM's commitment to integrating knowledge and spirituality.
